There are many ways to get involved with The TEO Foundation. For those in Korea, there are opportunities to serve directly by building relationships with students through programs like sports days, mentoring, and other ongoing activities. Our focus is on consistent, relational involvement over time.
If you are based outside of Korea, you can still play an important role by supporting the ministry through giving, helping raise awareness, or connecting us with potential partners and supporters.
The best place to start is by reaching out to us at volunteers@theteofoundation.org. We’d love to learn more about you and help you find a way to get involved!
We value consistency and long-term relationships, so most of our volunteer opportunities are designed for those who are able to commit to ongoing involvement, particularly for those based in Korea.
That said, if you are visiting Korea or interested in short-term involvement, we would still love to connect. In some cases, there may be opportunities to participate in specific events or support in other ways.
Please reach out to us at volunteers@theteofoundation.org to learn more.
We primarily serve youth in Korea who face barriers to accessing sports and mentorship opportunities. This includes students living in welfare homes, as well as those with financial, physical, or social challenges.
Our goal is not only to provide access to activities, but to walk alongside these students and families over time—offering encouragement, stability, and meaningful relationships that support their overall development.
Yes—we are always open to partnering with individuals, businesses, churches, schools, and other organizations who share a heart for serving underserved youth.
Partnerships may include financial support, volunteering, providing space or facilities for programs and events, collaborating on initiatives, or helping raise awareness about our programs.
If you’re interested in partnering with us, please reach out at info@theteofoundation.org.
Donations made to The TEO Foundation (U.S.) are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in the United States, and all eligible donors will receive a receipt for their records.
Donations made directly to our Korea-based organization, TEO (테오), are not currently tax-deductible. We are actively working toward tax-deductible giving in Korea.
If you have questions about giving or receipts, please contact us at finance@theteofoundation.org.
Donations to The TEO Foundation directly support programs that make sports and mentorship accessible to underserved youth in Korea. This includes covering costs such as program fees, equipment, facility rentals, transportation, and scholarships for students who would not otherwise be able to participate.
We aim to steward all donations with care and transparency, prioritizing initiatives that create meaningful, long-term impact through consistent relationships and opportunities for growth.
The TEO Foundation (U.S.) exists in part to support and expand the work of TEO (테오) in Korea. The U.S. organization primarily focuses on fundraising, donor support, and partnerships, while programs and direct ministry are mostly carried out in Korea.
This structure allows us to provide tax-deductible giving opportunities for U.S.-based donors while ensuring that resources are directed to where they are most needed—locally or abroad.
The TEO Foundation is a Christian nonprofit motivated by a desire to share the love of Christ through relationships, service, and mentorship.
While our faith shapes who we are and why we serve, our programs are open to all, regardless of background or beliefs.
